UPDATE: East Devon flooding

THE severe flood warning in Axminster has now been lifted, following the Envivornment Agency's previous statement that lives were at risk in areas near the River Axe.

Caroline Spelman, Minister for the Environment, met Paul Diviani, East Devon District Council leader, and county councillor Sara Randall Johnson in the Land of Canaan Carpark at Ottery St Mary at 1pm on Sunday, July 8th to discuss the flooding in East Devon.
